This class has been carefully curated and crafted to fit into our already proven Full Term Program. The ‘’Advanced Design Character Course’’ will serve as an important cornerstone to not only cover character design in our already versatile program but just like with every class, it will channel the tools, techniques and knowledge to our students on the highest possible industry standard level. With Kobe Sek as your instructor the skill gain will be undisputed. His vision and design language which he is able to deliver as an artist and a professional for the entertainment industry makes us at Focal Point School extremely excited.

Learn what character design actually stands for. How to navigate through the whole production pipeline and always deliver work which will make you more needed within the production. Design with emotions, functionality and your own reinterpretation of reality to make your character designs not only turn into a pretty picture but truly believable. Make your character actually function on a very realistic and immersive level.

Kobe Sek is a Senior concept artist, modeler and Associate Art Director working at Ubisoft Singapore.

He has worked on numerous projects for Ubisoft, with some of his notable pieces manifesting themselves in the Assassin's Creed series, where his specialization lies in concept art, character design, environment design and digital illustration. Kobe has also worked on Love Death and Robots for the Netflix series.

His outstanding skills go well beyond what he was able to achieve while working for various clients. Kobe is one of these concept artists which dares to push the boundaries of what Character Design actually should stand for. Continuously pushing the envelope by forging his own unique style and design language. Kobe is able to set the trends instead of following them. Dares to execute something that started as a lucky creative accident and still brings it on par and beyond what is expected in our ever demanding industry.

Every piece of his designs, regardless of if it is just a sketch or a fully presented and rendered design tells a story. Because Kobe is successfully infusing the perfect balance between abstract creativity and immersive functionality, something which he will be teaching thoroughly during his ‘’Advanced Character Design’’ Course.
